I'm Erikka: a movie enthusiast currently working in production in Nashville, TN. I recently graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts in 2014 with a degree in Cinema Studies and now I am pursuing a career in the film & tv industry.
Since graduating from college, I have been forced to learn a lot about myself. I have worked as an amateur videographer, photographer, music video producer, executive producer's assistant, office production assistant, set production assistant, script supervisor, administrative assistant, and saleswoman. From those experiences, here is what I've learned about myself. It is important to me, above all, to believe in what I am doing; to work towards specified goals big and small; and to learn and understand more and more everyday. With these criteria, I believe I can do anything. I'm continuing to try new things and find my path. |
My varied interests make my longterm goal difficult to pinpoint. I don't want to get tunnel vision. My skills seem to point me in the direction of production coordinating, producing, or film festival work. However, I can also see myself casting and directing feature content, or directing documentaries one day. And so I chug along, welcoming whatever each day brings.
If you are looking for an affordable but dedicated and mindful photographer or videographer, please look over my work and let me know if and how I can serve you. As my degree in Cinema Studies might indicate, I am also interested in film analysis and criticism. In my free time I like to write and watch content old & new, which occasionally leads to me writing a review of said content. Those reviews can be found at buttermilk-films.tumblr.com. |
In case you want to know just a little bit more about me, here are some things I like to do in my free time.
